I mean if you have had problems with certain posters in the past just forget it and judge stuff as it happens.

Also you can't give in to the temptation to play silly little jokes with your new found position of power (i.e. changing Zakmans Avatar as much as the twat annoys me) because it devalues your role and you run the risk of becoming what the Brit Forum posters feel some of the other Mods were.

P.S. Daniel Craig is the only 'English Blood' Actor to have played James Bond.

Bob Holness who was the second actor to play james bond (Radio version of Moonraker) is considered english though he was actually born in South Africa!!!

I recommend removal of duplicate threads? Or indeed threads that appear to be asking the same thing as something on the front page of te forum? Maybe posting a link to a more prominent thread and then locking the new one would allow it's creator to get an answer, whilst not allowing it any new posts and seeing it drop offfairly quickly.

Just thinking of a way to de-clutter the board, as it can happen from time-to-time.

Also james bond was never shown to he English. He was created by a scot, best and originally portrayed by a scot, bonds father is Scottish, his mother(in the movies at least) Swiss.

 

Bond was English originally. Fleming revised the novels after Sean was so ironic in the role. It was with pierce's performance that they started pushing the English angle more - strange considering he was Irish!
