Tony Bellew? I have my doubts and always have but you no what i'm going to get behind him now because he seems the only up and coming talent that will fight anyone and any time. I am sick of Haye, Khan and all the other British fighters we invest so much hope and emotion in. The only fighter from these shores that truley believes in himself is Bellew, i may have given him stick in the past and i would never arse lick the scouse ****(joke) but the more i think about it he is the only one who will fight anyone to prove he is the best and we have to respect that. He has a good team behind him especially arnie and gay greg lol. For **** sake Bellew please do not get to Hayes level and just take the fights that you no u can win, take on the best and win or lose it will prove what you say...."i will fight anyone, anytime". You will earn enough money over the years, just always make sure you never duck a challenge, ie haye and khan.

I'll get the ball rolling- Froch aint shirked a challenge cant imagine John Murray doing it either both those guys could fit the throwback bill you're after. Early in his career but young Billy Joe Saunders has that all action take no prisoners aggression too. Agree with Bellew but no he's not the only 1 out there

I thought Froch filled that role.

    + 1

Froch is the epitomy of the term "warrior".

Yep, I'm not his biggest fan but you can't fault Frochs willingness to take on top opposition.

Hatton was the same but he was paid a lot of money to get banjoed 2 out of the 3 times so I guess that might not count as being a "old school warrior"!

Hatton is probably a new school warrior. Fight the best ONLY when you've exhausted all avenues and NEVER take a fight that is risky and jeopradizes your money making potential ;)

Froch though...yeah...shame the **** took until he was 30 to do it which was possibly a complete waste of some of his best years.

Again its early in his career but Stephen Smith taking on Simpson so early on in his career and wanting Lindsay shows some guts!

Edit: I misunderstood your post on the first read.

Yeah Haye and Khan are really frustrating people right now. Haye is the bigger ducker at the moment. Khan can't dodge the guys at 140 too long because he is in a loaded division, so expect him to be in there with a top 140 guy soon.
