The moments Manny landed some combo shots... they did seem to have freezed Floyd.. especially up against the ropes.

But Manny had to do more of that and in more rounds.

I think he could have carried on successfully doing those flurries on Floyd only if he just let his punches go and worry less about counters from Floyd.

Big thing I saw going for Floyd was that his jab often kept Manny at bay later on in the fight.

If Manny fought the reckless style (like some of the Mexican boxers) and just went right through Floyd's jab attempts...... I feel we would have seen more solid shots being landed by Manny.... even if Manny in turn ate punches in turn.

^ This Manny of past doesn't seem to be present anymore... sad to say but perhaps that JMM round 6 KO effected him some way psychologically..

Both Manny and Floyd had long and eventful careers though. This fight finally happened and we witnessed it!!! :)

Pacquiao fans are now just embarrassing themselves now, Pacquiao landed 81 punches in total, I repeat landed 81 punches over 12 rounds.

Threw less punches than Mayweather, was out boxed and out foxed.

    What happened to #noexcuses?

100% correct. The Manny of 2009 wouldn't take the blood tests, Floyd gave him the opportunity but he declined. Meanwhile he was knocking out much bigger men and brutally too. Floyd and his team knew the score.

What did Floyd do? what did he do?
By controoling the pace? That's bs he controlled the pace, why? because Pac didn't dart in and out? ever occur to you that Pac changed the game plan, he timed Floyd, caught him and unloaded on the ropes. Mayweather was a lot bigger and Pac was conscious of being wreckless against a guy who times punches brilliantly, so Pac adjusted his fight and basically controlled Floyd, always forcing him on the back foot and making him look very bad at times.

I agree with some of this, but did Floyd do enough himself to win? objectively scoring a fight Floyd did fk all, he did do better in the later rounds because he caught pac a few times and it looked harder than it was, but overall he did nothing at all.

Can't believe that someone would try and dispute the result of that fight, was such a clear cut victory for mayweather

Exactly! You have to factor for both fighters

Look how Mayweather came back against Mosley - that was a clinic

So basically the sheep are following the AMerican media instead of formulating their own conclusion that Floyd actually did NOTHING in this fight.

it is childish, Pacquiao fans will just not accept after all these years it finally happens and Pacquiao was bossed.

Maidana had more success against Mayweather than Pacquiao. I think after all the mouthing off and the predictions of Mayweather getting destroyed the best they can come up with is "Pacquiao won".

Punch stats do not support it, the judges scorecards do not support it and anybody with a brain cell and two eye***** wouldn't support it.

90% of floyd's punches were jabs that wouldn't break the skin of a rice pudding. It's probably time to reconsider the definition of a punch if those were deemed to fall into that definition. If the powers that be in boxing want it to be a semi-contact sport, like some kind of glove-fencing, then they should let the paying public know that so they can make an informed choice about purchasing or not.

You are delusional, bitter or drunk, which is it? Or is it a combination of all three?

    Amazing!

    I'm a Pac fan (he's a great fighter) but I'm not delusional.

Floyd won that fight fair and square!
