Wearing wrestling shoes for boxing

I was thinking about buying a pair of low cut boxing boots to wear to training simply to save me the hassle of lacing up my high cut boots before every session. This way I could use the high ones for fights and the low ones just for traning.

I was looking at this boxing website called sugarrays and they sell wrestling boots in the boxing footwear section. Do they do basically the same job? I'm thinking of getting these ones;

Those would work just fine. I've seen guys box in tennis shoes, converse, skate shoes. It really doesn't matter as long as the sole is flat and you can move around.

 

It works just like a boxing shoe, BUT you'll have to replace it more often

 

You mean for the Uni championships?

Heriot Watt aren't affiliated with amateur boxing Scotland yet apparently and so are unable to enter. I've been out with a virus anyway. You entering?

I've been told that the British uni championships are in the New year. Do you have to have won the Scottish Uni championships in order to go through?

Ive been using wrestling shoes for a couple years and theyre great. They havent worn out yet so theyll last a long time if you treat them well.

 

High boots don't take long at all to tie up, just don't take the laces out of the holes, then all you have to do is pull
