That was a battle. Should have been able to go on longer. It's a shame. Knee behind the ear. miura got discombobulated. great fight all around. I can see a remtach between these two.

 

I told you guys, you could see it from rouond one, WEC doesn't want an asian beating there Champ.

 

Well, he looks done now but those shots he was landing weren't that big.

Still one of the best fights I've seen in a long time in terms of back and forth.

that stoppage was dumb. lame hammerfisting to the ear wasn't doing much.

 

Clearly the guy had no gas left in the tank, but he wasn't taking any real damage at the end of the round. Plus, there was about 15 seconds left. The ref should have given him the benefit of the doubt there, but clearly they didn't want Condit to lose. Shame it ended like that. It was really a hell of a fight for both guys.

Sorry to move the threads backwards, but I agree. He threw a GREAT array of strikes there. Elbows, body shots etc.

 

Condit most likely. I had Miura winning the fourth round - but if he had survived the round he would have lost it on the cards. Even if Miura came back and won the fifth round - he could not have won a decision. Miura had to KO Condit at that point.

Great fight. These two will fight again.
