Well Hari has spent his fighting career fighting 3-4 rounders and we all know Kimbo has absolutely no gas tank..So why not i guess.

He's a great kickboxer for sure, but he'd be competing as a heavyweight in boxing.

Hari vs Klitschko would be a crazy mismatch, the top tier European contenders would be too much for him too

he may be good enough to beat the best Americans though, Areolla, Chambers, Wilder, Mitchell etc, I could see him KO'ing them

I have no idea who he is but I just googled him and watched some youtube clips. He looks awful- terrible balance, pushes his punches, throws wide shots and tends to kick a lot...

He doesn't have the punching technique for boxing and it will be impossible to learn it in in 1 or two years. He will probably have the advantage of a long reach, and decent power. His punches will be quite wide, I have no idea how his footwork will turn out. But the fact is guys like Areolla, Chambers, Solis, Chisora will beat the crap out of him.

as a dutchie i've seen almost his whole career.

He can punch hard. but punches very very wide. Not as wide as Overeem, but still very wide.

I can't see him making a big impact in the heavyweight division. He can bring some excitement though. Fights with a lot of energy. And has a tendency of losing his head when things don't go his way.

As I said I would love to see Hari fighting with some amateur top heavyweight boxers ( three rounds sports ) to see how he handles with the boxing speed, tehnique, footwork, timing, accuracy & moving. Pro boxing I think is too much for him. He probably will have some boxing matches with Kimbo or Sergey Kharitonov for entertain the audience. Guys like Povetkin,Chambers,Helenius,Chagaev,Adamek or Arreola would "toy" Hari in the ring. Not to mention about the K. brothers.

My opinion is that Hari wants to make some big money in boxing, skipping some essential/important stages and he will fail.

He should stay in K-B and have a fight with Daniel Ghita who had a beautiful victory ( by K.O ) into a rematch against Hesdy Gerges !

The first shock for him it will be the training and stamina needed for a 8, or 10 rounds bout.

True , but do you know what kind of fight it would be interesting to watch?!

A boxing match ( only 5 rounds ) between Badr Hari and Junior Dos Santos who has one of the best boxing skills from MMA , imo.

I'd bet on Dos Santos hands :yep !!

I think that he'll get starched by any top 20 guy, but who knows? We should probably see him fight before giving any real analysis. Skelton managed to have a decent career after transitioning from kickboxing. Maybe Hari will as well.

He first of all needs to reprogram his muscle memory so he doesn't kick in the middle of a combination when instinct takes over, which does if he gets frustrated.

Second of all, his kicks were his best weapon

I think he wants to go into boxing for the money, with K1 gone there is little money to be made with kickboxing, even on his level.
