LaPorte against Gomez............ LaPorte talked so much **** I actually bought his jive..... Come fight night, Gomez batters LaPorte for all 12 rds....

Bowe being a jive-turkey and getting his azz kicked 2X by Golota....

Fenech being cocky in his 1992 rematch with Nelson and Nelson looked awesome in hammering Ol' Jeff........

Sadly, SRL getting dusted by Norris and Camacho...... Ray deserved them ass whippings.....

Tyson deserved his ass kicked by Holy 2x as well... WORD!

Rico Mayo generally gets his ass kicked in his big fights, and cuz of his smack talk, he too, deserves them losses....

    Yada, Yada...

Well deserved beatings not due to trash talk , which I usually don't know about :
Leonard , Jones , Ali , Holmes , Duran , Holt , Honeyghan , Lewis , Wladimir Klitschko and even Holyfield in their serious losses . Ali even deserved his handicap for Norton #1 because of the Zaire fight , I do believe he was informed about the ropes before the fight so he could work on his rope-a-dope tactic.
It's more about who didn't deserve his beating which some examples to are Rahman , Maskaev , Corrie Sanders , Orlin Norris , Chris Byrd , Montell Griffin , Qawi and I can bring more of course.

Bowe was always a big pre-fight talker and those were major league lickings he took against Golata, of all people. I did not buy into Golata at the time and thought he was another one of those carefully selected Bowe opponents. I figured he'd do better than some of those other Bowe opponents, but Riddick went and made the guy look like a terrific fighter, didn't he? Who else did Golata ever look that good against?

Fenech and that Nelson rematch was great. Everyone was buying into the hype of Fenech at the time and he sure has not stood the test of time well. And there was steady as a rock Nelson. Funny thing with those brawlers is when they lose that first fight. They take a big licking in there and are never the same fighter. I liked that Calvin Grove/Fenech fight as well. Grove was a guy everyone ignored and sold short and was a real good boxer. Never noticed until he gets title shots and kind of like Frankie Randall. And did he ever plant Fenech and that looked like Tate Weaver.

I forgot to put down Leonard and those fights. Thanks for bringing them up. I actually enjoyed those bouts and made quite a bit on them. My thinking was Leonard was wearing the other guys shoes for a change and for the first time. I did not think he'd be effective doing so. Different ballgame for the quick reflex guys when they age and they finally take on youth and better reflexes. Man, their effectiveness just disappears and they probably should change their name since they look so completely different.

perfect example his fight with renaldo snipes...it was a slow, drawn out, and classless beating from gonzales to a shot to pieces snipes...the bowe and witherspoon beatings were justified after that

:good He was also said to have been a ******* to train, had a awful attitude in the gym, no one could tell him anything, he also beat the **** out of sparing partners more then was normal, seemed to get real pleasure out of hurting poorly paid boxers he spared with, and came across as a real nasty ****er

After the Gamache debacle, Gatti deserved the ass-kicking he got from the larger De La Hoya.
