Khan is a lucky kid, make no mistake. If Limond had jumped on him after Khan was rubberised, it would have been all over for the cash cow. Khan will get smoked just shortly, in fact the first guy who can take a punch and give a good punch will end this joker. I've always said he aint the real deaL and it was proved last night. Domestic fighter, that is all he will end up as. Hopefully he has to move up the weight and comes across Olusgen, man Khan would get absolutely hammered, cool:good :thumbsup

I will do what i want, when i want, welldone its good that allot of people agree with your opinion.

Amir Khan was one of the bad men of boxing last night, technically it was a mis-match. Limond did not have the hand speed, to hit Amir Khan enough. Limond did not have the footwork, to pin him down. He used a counter puncher style, and attempted to hit Amir Khan with single hard power punches. He did have some success, which was evident, no question. But there was not enough of it. And the reason was, because of Amir Khan. Too big, too fast, to skillfull. Limond only had a punchers chance, he was'nt dominating Amir Khan, in any area of the boxing match, forget the fight. I am talking about technical boxing, Amir Khan dominated him. Look at Limond's face, his Jaw was broken, his nose was broken, the man got beat up. All i know is that both fighters where asked serious questions in that ring, Amir Khan was the only fighter that came through all them.

    Well done Amir Khan

I did'nt say i was impressed. But he was one of the bad men of boxing last night. Limonds face was a mess, the worst thing he did last night was knock Amir Khan down. I am giving Amir Khan credit, for what he did. He got up, and was the badder Man. Technically it was a mis-match. It speaks great Volumes, when people say. When Amir Khan faces someone who can punch he is finished. That right there speaks great volumes about his boxng ability. 90% of british fighters only have a punchers chance against Amir Khan. He is to fast, too skillfull for 90% of the fighters out there. Limond god bless is in that 90%, he had a punchers chance, "he was not fast enough to hit Amir Khan with consistent power punchers, did'nt have the footwork speed to pin him down". He knew this from, the opening seconds. Where Amir Khan's speed, boxing technical boxing ability was evident to see. Limond used a counter punching style, hoping to land that one big shot, he had success. "But not enough".

So his Jaw got broken, his nose got broken.

    Amir Khan beat him up!

Mr KOOL when people assess Amir Khan we are are looking at what he does and the potential because he is a hyped fighter for obvious reasons. I have watched all his professional fights but was not ready to make any judgements until yesterday's efforts. I think he is going backwards from what I saw. He is walking in straight lines, low hands, questionable chin. Limond is not a noted puncher. Khan L-plates are still firmly on. I can think of lots of fighters who would knock him around his division right now. I am not sure what his trainers are doing but there is serious cause for concern. For me it is not just the knockdown rather it is the way he fought.

If you seriously believe limond had a punchers chance then either you must believe that Khan does have a glass jaw or you know bugger all about this sport.

Stop the presses: Boxer sustains injuries to nose and jaw in a fight. Shock horror. Reports suggest a bad man did it.

    :yep

No in boxng terms, Amir Khan techniqcally was too good for Limond. In every department. So the only chance Limond had was a punchers chance. He was not going to outbox, out speed Amir Khan, that was a fact last night.

    Limond got beat up.

Getting there is a very loose term. I'm not sure what you thought by it. Fact is he has stepped up from guys who pad records and won one of the three major titles of the traditional route to a championship.

To my mind Khan proved two things last night.

He proved that he had the mental toughness to compete at a world level by coming back with all guns blazing while hurt.

He also proved that he had good recuperative powers going from being hurt to dangerous in seconds.

While some questions might have been raised about his chin there is still a lot to work with potentialy.

No, I have nothing against Mr. Kool. He boasts up shitty fighters, but he's an okay guy.

It takes all kinds and KOOL's support is purely nationalistic.

replace "world level" with "domestic level" and i'm in agreement. with all respect to limond, he's not world class.

khan did well offensively against a guy who's considered to have a good chin. however, since you can't train a chin to become solid, his guard and punch evasion will have to improve by around 378% for him to compete at world level.
