Where exactly are all these people misrepresenting Khan's victory, saying it was awsome, saying he is world class, saying he has proved the haters wrong, where are they? I've not seen anyone say that, or even suggest it.

What I have seen is a lot of people doing there very best to discredit Khan. All of a sudden every excuse in the book has come out. I think most objective people understand a few facts:

1. MAB was not the MAB of old, but was still a credible opponent for a green and inexperienced fighter like Khan.

2. Khan deserves credit for taking the fight, and for getting the 'w'.

3. The 'w' doesn't mean Khan is now world title material, or some amazing boxer that is going to clean out the division any time soon. He is a prosect, borderline contender with skills and flaws.

Why people feel the need to discredit Khan, I don't know, I think he deserves credit for taking the fight and doing a proffesional job. Most, if not all, of the hysterical reactions I've seen to this fight have been from the haters.

now to answer your original point - have you read some of the posts or any of the press????? did you listen to the commentators after the fight?

i cannot see what the problem is with pointing out that some people are pretty much ignoring the cut and making out like barrera got owned.

 

I've read three reports on the fight. One was slightly OTT in prasing Khan, the others were perfectly reasonable, and pretty much were on the same lines as what I just posted.

As for people on here, prasing Khan for "owning Barrera", or making out Khan to be something he is not. I haven't seen anything like that, just hate and criticism.
