well i was wrong about khan and his chin!!!

i cant believe the shots khan took and stayed on his feet!!!......

that 10th round was a pure onslaught from maidana, pure warrior stuff!.....

khan took them all, he wobbled but he stayed on his feet, maybe some what unsteady, but i take my hat of to khan and tip it at the lad.:happy

when i seen khan walking back to the corner after the 11th i thought maidana would get the stoppage in the 11th, if you look close at khan's walk back to the corner after the 10th he was doing the dot to dot!....but i dont know where he got it from but he got it!

i have knocked khan for his previous china looking chin but i can say now that i will never call khan a china chin again.

amir khan has now proved he does not have a china chin but a very solid chin indeed, and when in the trenches he can trade and come out the victor.

well done to maidana for coming back after the 1st round knockdown, he is also a true warrior and gets my full respect, but not as much respect as khan now gets from me and its very much well deserved!

also well done to roach he has remarkably seemed to have put muscles on khans chin!

a rematch would be huge imho.

Khan has a lions heart. I am disappointed that he allowed Maidana to land that many shots. I thought Khan didn't listen to anything Roach told him before the fight, he just wanted to show he didn't have a glass chin this fight. Well he proved that, but I would rather have him be a smart fighter instead of a fighter that wants to address the haters. Much respect to this warrior though.

I was so proud of Khan watching that fight.

Yelling and cheering up until the 10th round when I almost cried
kept yelling "Get out of the there!"

Woah woah, don't get all this love for Khan, yeah he staid in there but any half decent fighter would of put him away. I came back from the pub in round 8 and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Maidana was winging away like a rank amateur. Had high hopes for Khan but this shows that he won't go far, the hyperbole from De La Hoya afterwards was laughable.

 

its not love mate, its just some respect for the lad for how he's came back from the dead against prescott the demolisher.....

he deserves respect from me anyway cos ive slagged him right off in the past.

Never thought Khan lacked heart. Last night proved he's got balls of steel. What that fight did for his long term health though I dread to think.
