Does anyone notice anything that Robinson does that is wrong technically?

Is it wrong what Robinson is doing for defence, should he be bending at the waist to avoid jabs and hooks? Tyson said before the Marvis Frazier fight:

“When you jab him he bends forward at the waist, like he’s bowin’, just bends straight over. He doesn’t bend his knees. When I jab and he bends over, I’m gonna catch him with the right uppercut.”

If Riccio or FLores used their uppercut when Robinson bends down to avoid ther punches, Robinson would have been caught, no?
