Were Calzaghe to lose a fight, would people give him respect?

A lot of why he'll never get the credit he deserves is because he is British or just a Non-American white guy. It's sad but it's the way it is.

Thinking of it, Joe Calzaghe could quite possibly be the most talented white boxer of all time.

I believe this is true to an extent. If Roy would have been in alot more closer fights, I think his merits would be held higher. Alot of people say that Jones Jr's resume is garbage but Jones has ALOT of good and some great fighters on his resume but because of the way he dominated there looked at as "bums". I dont care who you are or how great you are as a boxer, your bound to run into a boxer that is alot less talented than you but gives you a tough fight or even beats you, just remember nobody is unbeatable there's always someone out there that has a style to beat you plain and simple. For Roy and Joe C to dominate the way they did or have is absolutely amazing.
