I'm not sure if Ramirez was also dropped by Olivares. Also, Napoles was down against Carlos Hernandez and John Stracey

Can't contribute anything useful to this thread, as I only know what others have pointed out about JLR and Napoles. I can't remember Miguel Angel Gonzalez ever being on the canvas but I can't say that he never was or wasn't with real authority.

Mostly I wanted to tack on to the OP by asking if anyone knows whether Juan Laporte was ever dropped in his career?

You da man scar...once again! I'm reminded to add that the Hernandez kd was just a minor blip for Jose...as he got up to make his opponent's life a sheer hell...subjecting Carlos to a merciless beating...especially to the body...and winning a 6th round tko. No disgrace in being decked by Carlos Hernandez, who also decked the phantom master Nicolino Locche in their fight as well....and as for Stracey, just let it be said that the Brit was in the right place at the right time...and just a few years earlier, would have come nowhere near beating the great Cuban master.

Yori boy Campos quit in his corner vs Fernando Vargas, but was he ever down? With the amount of losses he has had, my guess is yes.
