..., but they were brilliant last night, IMO. Balanced commentary and some great comments from Darke and Watt during the fight as well as both commentators reading out their scorecards for a more balanced view on things. Dave Darts abandoned the autocue and Johnny Nelson was actually allowed to express his opinion and they both had a brilliant heated debate in the studio instead of the normal lifeless, insipid Sky boxing broadcast. Darke's post-fight interview was fantastic as well - he didn't hold back and said what needed to be said rather than just play a mediator with only boring questions to ask. Top class performance from all of the Sky team last night, IMO. Let's hope it's a sign of things to come and they continue with it. Not enjoyed coverage of a fight like that since the Setanta days. Thoughts, as always, are welcome.:good
Jim Watt was brilliant. I'm quick enough to slate him but I'll give him credit Dave Darts is still mince tho
Yeah was a good showing. Its nice to see that people on here can give credit when credits due too :good When done Craig :happy I always thought that the Sky shows would be better if they just sacked off the studio team and reported everything from ringside, that way you'd get to see all the fights live too. Not like there's anything decent on SkySports earlier on a Friday so do the whole thing live. Two commentators doing the fights and when there was a break it could cut to Darke and get him to either be interviewing the fighters post fight or speaker to some of the faces in the crowd ????
