Could see a Jared Anderson fight to be honest. If Anderson was still undefeated they wouldn't make this fight but Anderson has been exposed by someone who was also a hype job whilst being a gatekeeper at best in Bakole so they'll look into it and boost Torrez's career.
He has a mean right hook but his footwork in cutting off the ring vs taller fighters is lacking. He needs to fight a tall 6'6 type decent top 20 contender and learn to properly cut the ring.
I think they should keep him busy and padding his record while he works on a few things. But a fight against someone like McKean to see how he compares to Itauma, or another fighter around that level while he sees how the division turns over. A fight against a top 15 opponent or two should definitely happen with in the next year though.
They need to stop feeding him guys that gives him highlight KO. These fights do not help in his development.
Better than Itauma, sure. They're fighting at the same level. Torrez has done more in the pro game than both of those two combined. Jalolov is being moved slow as hell for a reason. He's going to go out like David Price.
