Hating?? Not at all. I actually like Vitali Klitschko, and his brother in fact

They are true gentlemens and both rule the heavyweight division. I have nothing but respect for them

But they are not in the ame league as a in shape Lewis,

Here's a thought: What about Lewis of this fight v's the Vitali of last night? That would make them the same age.....

I think that round actually proved Lewis' GREAT condition for that fight. If Lewis wasn't in great shape, he never would have survived.

Obviously he wasn't in great condition. Thats rubbish. Great would imply that he was in well above average condition in relation to the rest of his career. Which he clearly wasn't (with weight and age being clear indications). It was a great fight and Vitali is a great fighter, but don't sell your intellect short with rubbish comments just to try and counteract haters. It certainly wasn't a physically great version of Lennox.

Also, you guys do realize that it was a grazing punch that caused that cut right? It was a punch that just missed it's target, but grazed and cut the skin as it went by. Why on earth do people talk about what an "in shape" Lewis would have done to Vitali's face? Would he have landed even more grazing punches or something?:think

You guys really need to get over the excuses.

Just imagine what a prime Lewis would have done, he was old and out of shape and still beat him, amazing.

And imo a prime Vitali is better than any version of Wlad.

why do Lewis fans need excuses when he won the fight? you need the excuses like the grazing punch.

Lewis wasn't in bad shape for that fight, but he certainly was not in top shape! that vitali versus lewis of 1999/2000 would of been beaten badly....even without that cut!a out of shape lewis needed that cut to win to be honest.....without it, it would of been too close to call a winner.....

Lewis is one of the best heavyweights of all time and Vitali held his own in there and even gave Lewis hell and was ahead on scorecards before the fight was stopped on cuts.

I think Vitali is arguably Lewis' best win, being that Holyfield and Tyson were smaller and one could argue not in their primes.

After watching Vitali yesterday and then rewatching this you could see clearly he was faster all around back then.
