for me it's gonna be a great come back for Marquiz , right now it's hard for him to go down to lightweight division and maybe fight the big puncher edwin vallero.....:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke
Not good. LWW is still too big for Marquez and Hatton is clearly past it. What's the point? If JMM wins - Hatton was shot (more or less true). If Hatton wins - JMM was old, too litte, Floyd softened him up (more or less true). To gain something from a sport perspective, Marquez should fight Katsidis at LW then Soto either at LW or at SFW, closer to his natural division (which is FW). Hatton should get an easier challenge then one last title shot. I don't like the idea of JMM-Hatton at all...
These fighters have nothing to loose. It would be competitive since JMM is the smaller man and Hatton is somewhat on the edge. It would be great to see these two in one of their last great fights. What else would you want to see? JMM outclass everyone at lightweight or outweighed and outpowered at 140 VS younger faster opponents? Or Hatton falling into a coma again(almost everyone at 140 has power exept Amir Khan). This fight is not the best but everyone would deffinitely watch. Hey its a better fight than the Mayweather mismatch ill tell you that much
No bad fight for both JMM isnt a good LWW and Ricky probably cant make it judging by how he looked at the pac weigh in and how he looks now
I dont understand how two losses to the recognized P4P champs makes a fighter shot. Especially after how he dismantled Malinaggi. People are so ignorant.
Not a bad shout. It makes sense because it should make good $$$$$ Interesting match up IMO :good I'd pick Maquez by stoppage though as Rickys punch resistance seems to be non-existent these days.:-(
I think it would be a good career ending fight for both. 2 big names, big stadium venue in England, and a massive payday for both.
Good fight if Ricky has anything left in the tank , whould be a big fight for them both to go out with, Thow as was stated earlier was can Hatton take on the chin as since Mayweather fight his punch resistence has all but gone , thow if he can still take a half decent shot and has something left in the tank it's a fight Ricky could win
I agree :good Alot of it would be down to how Ricky prepares and wether he keeps his weight down to a reasonable level while not active (he was looking very podgey on Sky sports the other night!!). having to lose too much weight too quickly leading up to fights I think is a major contributor in his deteriorating punch resistance :deal
