I do think Usyk won clearly but what can he do this time to ensure he doesn't have any problems like he did in rounds 4-7. He did look out of place when Fury was using his jab and timing him with counters. Will he have a plan for Fury at long range.
Both can make adjustments but I don't think there is anything really major either can change It's going to be an eb and flow fight again where small differences can make or break the fight. Both very focused on round by round. I think Fury has clear room for improvement not just in terms of his gameplan but execution and also his fitness should be better in theory. He should have stayed in shape after Chisora but he spent 12 months bumming around then really expected to get in there with Usyk and it be enough. His corner won't be a shambles either this time. Main thing from Fury is that as his feet slowed late he became a little too hittable...but so did Usyk when he slowed mid bout. It's a leg game where both guys legs are on the way out! neither getting injured is still a focus as neither have 100% in them anymore. Both were probably 90% in that fight which was still amazing to watch and hopefully they can bring it again. Round 1 is rinse and repeat...Usyk will be cautious of Fury looking to attack/counter Usyk's bodywork and in turn, Usyk will be ready and look to counter the counter and VICE VERSA. That's the level of these guys. No plodding bums swinging punches. I just enjoy seeing the lateral movement of Fury doing things big men don't and can't do making even a man of Usyk's calibre think god damn he's good. That's what boxing is about. Then Usyk in turn making Fury think, god damn he's tough for a middleweight!
Will be a great fight. This is what happens when the best fight the best. Not much that separates them. Adjustments are what make a good fighter a great fighter. I am a Uysk fan and think he will win again. To think that Fury has no chance to win is just foolish. Hope its a great fight again and may the best man win.
Find the way to dodge or block Fury's uppercuts and counterpunch immediately. The rest is an easy job.
just use his legs more. the shots that bothered him caught him because he wasn't moving or countering, he was inviting fury to punch. half step back or to the side and fury doesnt land those. he needs to sharpen up his hooks, both hands. once he measures where he needs to step to when he hooks, he will catch fury leaning. cause fury is predictable. usyk needs to counter more and block less. if fury responds to the rematch in the way he has responded before, with increased aggression, he gets iced early.
Usyk's already downloaded all the data he needs to devise a watertight gameplan for the rematch. He'll start round one as if it's the beginning of round ten of the first fight. Fury's nose and egghead is being cracked again, this time for good.
