Sergio does not have a high KO ratio, so putting Cotto's lights out is not likely. I'd agree more with a UD.

You make it seem like Paul is some bad ass KO artist. News flash: He isn't. He throws a lot of punches, yes, but they are not big punches. He is also easily countered, as proven by Martinez, who I felt won that fight against Williams. Williams is overrated in my view. With a Manny Steward game plan I see Cotto beating Williams.

Cintron? Are you serious? He takes one body shot, folds up, and cries.

why do people think he would lose against cintron? a decent cotto would beat him up.and it seems, maybe slightly early to say, but cotto is back on the up, he looks happier and fighting like the old miguel. so if a good shape cotto steps in with cintron, cotto will destroy that boy

 

martinez is a dangerous fight for cotto, it may end up like a pac-cotto fight..

Paul might win through a UD against Miguel. his workrate, height and reach advantage is his key.

Imo cotto beats cintron and berto though..

 

I'm thinkin like most Martinez is the 1 to give him problems...P Williams I'm nt really sold on, it wuld b interesting to see but I do favour Cotto (obvious reasons). Cintron will get stopped late TKO imo

 

I should say again, apparently. Cintron and Williams are not part of unifying this division, as they are not champions. Dzinziruk, Spinks, Cotto and Martinez are the four champs of this division. Cintron and Williams ARE NOT 154-POUND Champions. They have not been at any time and are not now.

 

They could be though and that has to factor into the equation. There is no unidsputed champ at 154 so it's not like Cotto could pick them all up in one shot. IF Cotto were to attempt unifying the titles it would take quite some time to face all the titleholders at hand and by that time Cintron or Williams could have already snagged a title of their own.

Given all that I'd say he only has about a 25% chance of pulling it off. Even if he does manage to beat the stuffing out of the rest of the titleholders, I still don't think he has a prayer against Martinez.

 

"Could" means dick when everyone is addressing two non-titlists and completely ignoring the actual ****ing titlists when the thread is about unifying the division, man.
