Overall I agree with these flaws but some he can afford to get away with, some he can get away with except for fighting Floyd

but Manny is so athletic and conditioned and tough he can get away with these flaws that and his opponents lately have all fought with poor strategies

It amazes me that any photo you see of Pacquiao in action, while one hand is out, the other is at his waist. A very quick-handed fighter could capitalize on this.

It's built into him by design. The hand at his waist also has the shoulder connected to it pulled far back, so he can get additional leverage for power. THe hand at his waist would then be the next hand to punch in his combination, punching from the waist allows him to get his angles. This is also why he never developed the skills to double up or triple up on one shot with one specific hand, he rather use the hand at the waist next for the angle.

I wouldn't call Marquez QUICK, but he was able to take advantage of this. Having timing is more important. emmanuel's other hand at waist habit will make it hell for him whenever he steps to the plate against a quick fighter with excellent timing.

His flaws are still too good for all the fighters between 140 - 154 , so I think he is doing ok boys.

The only people losing sleep over his flaws are the Mayweather family.

He has trouble against good boxers. The last boxer he faced was JMM.

Pacquiao still has the tendency to punch very wild and sloppy...it works for him, of course, but it makes me question how easily he'd be able to hit a defensive wizard like Mayweather...

...then again, one could view Pac's shots as "sneaky" instead of sloppy. A perfect example is the shot that put Cotto down in round 4...that was a very sneaky punch...

Lacks defense Pac's defense isn't great, but it is underrated
Can't fight on the inside Not a flaw...his quick feet prevent him from having to do so
    Comes in off balanced Yes.
Often reckless and wide open Yes.
    One-dimensional Bull****!

Throwing a left hand to counter someone's jab doesn't mean you have a jab.

He does go to the body though, it's usually a straight left straight under the ribcage and above the stomach. It just gets lost in all his other busy work. Barrera has said it was that shot to the body that hurt him most.

Not when he KD'ed Morales and Cotto and a big shot to Margarito while backing up.
