What are the best tactics for Shane to use vs Floyd?

  1. He is also gonna have to box on his toes a bit more. Mosely likes to sit down on his punches. He gets away with this **** against slow fighters.

the longer he takes to get off, they worse it will be for him. he could try to make Mayweather come forward but what people forget is how versatile Mayweather is. He walked down Judah who has better movement than Mosley, as well as Corley, trounced Gatti when he tried to box.

  3. Yep thats true. he is never first to show his hand.

Walking down judah and corley is a totally different kettle of fish to walking down mosley. In fact, the recipe of success against judah is to walk him down. Everyone that has beaten him walks him down. Mentally he cant stand being overpowered. Gatti, who got his ass beat badly every time he stepped up in comp. also should not be used as a point of comparison.

He lost by 2/3 points, which was, incidentally, the same margin by which he should have been given the first fight. It was hardly a Louis/Schmeling level of retaliation on Mayweather's part.

So it's ok to make excuses for Mayweather when he's "injured", but not Castillo when he's "weight-drained"? Nice double standards.

Mosley wants floyd to walk him down, it will play into his hands. Floyd is versatile but he is a reactionary fighter. He is a natural counter puncher who wants to make you look silly by missing and getting hit.

Oh, so now Castillo was weight drained? I thought that honor went to Corrales, or are we going to retroactively weight drain all of the fighter's Mayweather beat? The fight was 8 months after the first Mayweather fight, where he was presumably not weight drained. He went on to fight 5 more times at 135, including the FOTY match with Corrales.

Gotta be a mix of everything..floyd figures his opponents out..if shane is coming at him with something different every round it will make it harder for floyd to figure **** out...

How was Castillo weight drained when he fought at that division for 3 years in the division after Floyd beat him??? If he was weight drained for the Floyd fight dont you think he would have moved up (right after the fight) in weight instead of draining himself to stay at 135???:huh

That seriously doesnt make any sense!

What double standards are you talking about?
