Edwin Valero. He was devastating. I truly believe if he was around he would have reached the top. Most people who I know he would have destroyed would have avoided him simply because he couldn’t get sanctioned to fight in America due to a previous head injury unrelated to Boxing. I believe he fought once in Texas though at the tail end of his career so could get that commission on board. Seeing as though Manny fought at Cowboys stadium im certain he would have KO’d Pac in that stadium. He was Tyson, Beterbiev and all the other KO artists we rave about rolled into one complete devastating puncher. I believe the recent history of Boxing at the lower weights at the elite level would have looked completely different had he not murdered his wife and killed himself.
I miss the british fighters of the 90`s especilly Wally Swift Jnr,Paul scrap iron Ryan,Ensley Bingham and Shaun Cummins
Boxing in the 1980,s was so much better than today.....there were at least 1 or more important fights every week
Evander is missed, i would like him to be featured at the desks or even commentary i bet he would do better than most they have on there currently.
You know what's funny? If you read the boxing mags in the period - and I subscribed to virtually all of them - all you would read is article after article about how mediocre boxing had become compared to the glory years of the 60s and 70s.
Sergio Martinez, Kovalev & Marvin Hagler are three others i miss fighting regularly, they always brought it, Miss the old large rings & light set up that HBO used to use up until they stopped around 2015.
True him as well, but mostly i feel i miss the current boxers who just never fight constantly, seems to be a rare occasion just getting to see them fight once a year, i mean just look at the next 2-3 months of schedule of either DAZN, SHOW, OR TP, sad, Great time to take an holiday in that case.
