Really straight laser, without telegraphing? Spoon was more kinda overhand, And the Suzy Q a littlle bit twisted....just like many others. But really straight out of nowhere: I guess Coetzee, Schmeling, Louis. Hate to say it but Wlad too, Lewis, ofc Liston and Foreman (They were elite level with every kind of punch). Patterson had a good straight right too...very much underrated. But just his 2nd best shot. Holyfield's laser counter right that 1-punched Douglas to sleep was very impressive too. But it was mostly like a footwork-counter-timing thing.

Gene Tunney used the straight right to good effect, especially in his Dempsey fights.

Holmes’ right was arrow-straight, like a sniper shot.

Lewis of course belongs in this category.

    Mike Weaver’s was very good.

Liston's right hand has been described as," like a longshoreman using his hook" it certainly wasn't straight.

For me Louis had the perfect straight right, like a bigger more powerful version of Arguello's.

From what I've seen of his fights, to include this compilation, most of his right hands look pretty straight to me. Right off the shoulder.

Some people are mentioning overhand rights. What Witherspoon, Lewis, and Shavers often threw were overhands, not right straights down the middle.

A laser like right down the middle would be Holmes when he lines a guy up with his left like a pool player. Iingo's straight right was lethal not just because of the power, but because of how accurate and straight it was (like a bazooka). The more accurate and precise a shot is, the more dangerous.
