He tried for the knockout but Floyd wasn't giving too many openings and then he started smothering his punches
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyCnk9PmXxM[/ame] look at the second punch in the video. See how quick Floyd recovers from it
    the round starts at 0:21

You are attempting to discredit Floyd, for turning a fight around when he was hurt by the biggest puncher at WW. And you are failing miserably.

    spoken like a true *****....

did you forget the part where Chavez broke his face, made him **** blood, and gave him brain damage, all while walking out of the ring without a scratch?

did you forget that chavez' style beat roger mayweather twice?

mayweather wouldn't have been able to take all the punishment that taylor took that night. He buckled after one good mosley shot and practically got knocked down by zab judah....believe me chavez would have done much worse.

Chavez would take castillo's style to another level, and floyd would not have gotten his gift decision

Its not so much the style but the quality of fighters and a prime fighter. Sergio, pacman, and williams can beat floyd. Sure williams isnt as skillful as floyd but floyd cant throw 1000 punches per fight and I dont think floyd can hurt paul to the point williams offense would get neutralized.

:rofl Williams has NO chance against Mayweather, he actually has worse defense than Margacheato, Floyd would use his head like a speed bag.

Interesting fight. Chavez did a good job of doing exactly what needs to be done to beat Floyd. Had he had just slightly better defensive skills and stamina, he could have dragged it out to the 12th round. Had he been a better athlete, he may have beaten Mayweather. Like I said, you need a Joe Calzaghe style of fighter. Punches in bunches.

I never said if Floyd could beat Chavez, to me that's is a toss up depending on the weight, but he sure is better than Taylor and has a lot better defense than him so he wouldn't get hit as much as he did

true... made me think... in the tony faceoff... they asked him how he was so sure of a win... and thats what he answered... and now its the same for mosley

It's pretty clear that it would take someone who could counter-adjust to Floyd's adjustments to beat him and there's no-one out there like that.

Failing that, I'd pick Pac to beat the living crap out of him just by being so good at a single strategy.

He is just showing how to beat up a past prime fighter.

I think that is the way they are doing thses things.

Mayweather KOs Hatton, Pac did it better.

Mayweather decisions Hoya, Pac made hoya his *****.

Pac fought Cotto, Margarito and Clottey, Mayweather fought Baldomir.

Pac fought JMM twice at their weights, Mayweather forced JMM rto jump 2 weight classes and failed to make weight.

That is a game of upmanship. I reckon they are even at this point.

It boils down now to how Pac will perform against Mosley.

You do yours, I will do it bettr!

    It is called PROXY WAR.

The US and USSR did it in Afghanistan, Cuba, Latin America, etc.

    Better versions?:lol::lol::lol:

Hoya is both faded in those fights, Mosley is also past it. Hatton is not even a welterweight. JMM is way way past it already (you don't struggle against the likes of light punching Juan Diaz if you have a skillset of JMM) and is not even a junior welter or welter.
