Paddy Barnes should do well, he's only fallen short to the very best at world amateur level, he's on the verge of turning pro

I suggest you do the research;genetically we North Europeans are all a mix of Celtic,Roman,Saxon and Viking heritage.
Dubliners are more English than any other county in Ireland due to its high settlement of immigrants from the UK over the centuries and the last time I was there there were an enormous amount of new settlers, mainly from Eastern Europe and Africa.
Europe has changed, pal, there are no pure races anymore, just people from different countries mingling genes together.
Maybe its a good thing too. Maybe its not.
I'm a redneck from Mayo living here in Yorkshire,my missus is from Yorkshire and my kids are born here.
They don't look any different from their cousins in Ireland, don't act differently, have the same sense of humour and like similar things.
So tell me in what way they are different?

We are different breeds. We have different culture, traditions, personalities etc.

And the Romans never came to Ireland. :good

Id like to see Andrew Selby & Michael Conlan continue their rivalry in the pro ranks, both are class fighters

Out of the irish lads, Jason Quigley had a great 2013 he looks the business would like to see him turn over
