I've heard it several times that they don't get along but was the cause of this? or is it simply because Arum is a jealous douche :think

    Great new avatar, Arcane.

I don't know for certain, but I'm confident ego and greed are to blame.

Arum hates everyone who leaves him, and his biggest cash cow post DLH left him and joined forces with Haymon. Hatred by association.

Haymon is a well known anti-semite and neo-nazi. He is a former KKK grand wizard.

Al Haymon has a lot of pull in boxing and more pull with HBO than anyone in the sport of boxing. He and Arum reportedly have had plenty of verbal spats over the years behind closed doors.

I'm amazed that's all the buyout was. Mayweather made a huge return on that investment. It probably paid for itself several times over in his first fight.

I'd like to know this myself......

I know Haymon has several boxers that Arum has wanted to deal with in the past and in the end Arum hasw called them hype jobs!

I'm surprised Haymon is not trying to start a promotional company altogether. I can picture the meeting it would probably just be the fighter and manager in his office talking to a chair and all you can hear is Haymon on the loudspeaker because he does not want to be seen.
