Have 3 or more weight ins 1 a week before the fight, one the day before and on fight night. You can't be more than 3lbs over your fighting weight.

So say a fight takes place at middleweight the fighters will be no more than 163 in the ring. So it will force fighters to fight at there natural weight and no one will be able to have 10lbs plus weight advantages.

    Safer?

If it was up to me they'd release lions at arbitrary intervals into the ring, and if one guy won 4 rounds in a row, his opponent would be given a shank for the next round to even things up.

In a sport where you punch eachother in the face, deaths are bound to happen. Its fine the way it is.

Has everyone lost their balls? If you like boxing then like boxing. It's been around and it works, not perfect but it works.

Lets make everything completely safe now! Yeah! Goddamn!
It's boxing not a Yoga meeting for fat spoiled housewives.

Those are May's gloves of choice. They help protect his brittle hands.

Wait, wait. Since when are same day weigh-ins ¨safer¨?

They stopped them precissely because they dont leave enough time for the fighters to rehydrate efficiently and it's easier for them to get brain damage

Yeah, pieces of black fabric are dangerous for the sport, no doubt

To be perfectly honest, none of us would let our kids box due to so many boxers (amateur included) sustaining brain injuries, and punch drunk syndrome later on in life.

    - make fighters score in the ring by running
    - measure how much amazement fighters generate in the news by coming totally overweight in the ring when fans begin to discuss if the athlets can actually run 1 mile
    - make boxing mainly a competition with stupid verbal attacks where fighters explain for half an hour what they're going to do to the opponent in the ring

David Haye and James Toney actually already revolutionized the sport.
