What did Chisora fight give away about Usyk in heavyweight division?

  1. Usyk is not cut for heavyweight, he should return to cruiserweight

    14.3%
  2. He is still too green in heavyweight, he'll get better and win at least 1 belt

    25.0%
  3. He will have some short-lived success then get destroyed

    46.4%
  4. He will unify the division and reign for a long time

    14.3%

What did Chisora fight give away about Usyk in heavyweight division?

I think he is not cut for heavyweight division, the powerful, heavy handed heavyweights will destroy Usyk easily. He should return to cruiserweight.

As I have already demonstrated though simple math, it revealed nothing.

When Usyk gets a big fight, he is simply going to go back to throwing 800-1000 punches and kick ass. Right now, he is just sparring.

By the way, you might want to have an option for: "He will win a title and compete with the best," or something, because you just have this huge drop between options three and four.

Hard to tell, the size of the ring was ridiculous for that fight...in a 20x20ft ring chisora would have a way harder time catching him

Usyk is already a success he was the undisputed cruiserweight division champion of the world , he will probably struggle to beat a bonified top three bloke @ Heavyweight though, imo he will have heaps of financial success and i suspect that's all he gives a cr ap about , after Dereks efforts i don't see any of the top 3-5 having any problem fighting him and that equals £££££' s , well played Usyk .

I think much depends on the style his opponents have.

Put in the right Usyk and Chisora/Whyte and Usyk will fight for survival.

If you give him some Fury or Joshua, the fight might turn into an art of boxing, some masterpiece of boxers with good footwork, faints and stuff, but in the long run Usyk will not have the power to KO, so he has to hope for decision victories.

For now I think he will get a big upset sooner or later against a big guy.

People said the same thing about holyfield getting destroyed by the top heavyweights then look what happened. Usyk is as big as Muhammad Ali but people still underestimate him. People who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it

Holyfield was fighting far smaller men coming up to heavy than Usyk. Big daddy bowe wasn’t even 230 for their first fight, just under I think

To become a full blown HW from CW with limited power, you need Evan Fields medication.

    - Chisora had lost like 33% of his fights when he fought usyk. Basically he had lost 1 every 3 fights he had fought.

    - Chisora had a ~50% KO rate. In heavyweight. 41 fights, 23 kos. In heavyweight, I repeat. Well... at top level that's... laughable.

    - Chisora's reach is 74''/188cm, Usyk's reach is 78''/198cm. I.e., usyk had the reach advantage, by far.

    - Usyk could not handle Chisora, no matter what you hear/read in this forum. Anyone with eyes in his face could see that usyk had massive problems to handle chisora.

Now, do your maths.... they are not very difficult...

You dont need a phd to do those maths....

Bowe weight 235 and got heavier as time went on. Even showing up at 240 in one fight. And holyfield is actually smaller than usyk

Why on earth would he go back down to CW?

What more could he do there?

Usyk has always been big enough. I have no reason to doubt his chin. He's a good boxer. He's strong enough to tackle a lot of the really big men.

BUT ..... look, he's already about 34 years old.
and he doesn't hit hard enough.

He might have a great heavyweight fight left in him but it's a lot to ask.
