What do you consider to be Roy Jones prime years?

Having recently watched his fight with Toney again he looked an absolute beast in there showing a ridiculous combination of power and speed with cat like reflexes. It's probably the best I've seen Jones look in his entire career...so taking this as a starting point for his prime (1995) where do you think Jones maintained this level of performance up to? i'd say 1999 (Johnson fight)

I'd say post-Hopkins (where he was admittedly tight for his first title fight) up until about the end of his run at 168 is where we saw the very best of Jones.

 

Even the Jones fanboys know the real answer if they look deep down far enough into their zero moral conscience.

Roy Jones prime finished the day of the Richard Hall fight when he was caught red handed juicing to fight a complete no hoper like Richard Hall.

 

1995-2000

 

When he was roided up like a racing horse and ducking top fighters. those were Roys best days.

 

I honestly think RJJ's peak years were from '97 to '00

 

i think the consensus (amongst non-******s) is between 1995-2000.
