There really isn't anyone ward could fight, he can go down and fight serg, or go up and rematch chad, or fight ward in england, all of which he doesn't even have to do any of that, but there aren't many options for him. Thoughts?
God knows to be honest. Maybe give some prospect types a shot whilst waiting for the winner of froch kessler. Stevenson, oost, dirrell, groves... Someone like that. Bute would be decent as well.
I thought of Bute as well but then he'll be fighting a guy who got destroyed by a guy he already comfortably beat
His fight with froch wasn't controversial so there isn't a need to leave America. I think that fight in England would be good as well, but what would the reason be? Since Ward already won comfortably there isn't really a reason he needs to go to England. Only way I see Ward doing something like that is if it was like 80-20 for money
What else can he do though he's beaten every belt holder in his division and beaten the champ from the division above already. Any meaningful fight would be a rematch with someone he's already dominated. Strange situation.
