To all the Froch fans out there - who do you want him to fight next? There's no doubt he needs a longer rest than he gave himself after the Pascal fight.

    So......

    an easy defence (Soliman etc)
    a unification fight
a name but winnable fight (like Miranda, Bika, Mundine)
or one of these American up and comers (Dirrell, Ward)

At 31 and the kind of fight he's getting involved with he'll be around maybe 2-3 years at the top?

    So what do you think?

Take a long break and then maybe a big name who is not so difficult to beat, namely Miranda.

It would be an extremely tough fight that would only succeed in making him look terrible.

    Taylor II.

Then the winner of Bute and Green.

    Then Bika.

    Then Andrade.

    Then Kessler.

    But that'll never ****ing happen.

Froch always looks terrible to me. He's never going to look like Whitaker or Louis, or even Trinidad.

Doesn't he have to fight another mandatory?

So he should do that then.

Give himself a good break then fight a name but winnable fight back in England. Then go looking for the unifivation fights.

winner or MIRANDA vs ward makes the most sense. Back in America to promote himself some more.

If it's about promoting himself more then fighting in the UK next probably makes more sense. Then it can be primetime UK time and get a decent live tv slot. The way the time differences work would mean that it could either be shown live in the US in the early evening or with a couple of hours delay at primetime, so has little impact on US coverage.
