Yet Adamek hurt Dawson more than any other fighter has, and seemed to win all the late rds following the knockdown.

In beating Cunningham, Adamek has beaten a simlar, almost orthodox version of Dawson. Dawson and Cunnignham both very fast, throw similar long punches.

Tomasz may not have been fast enough as a light heavy but he's fast enough as a cruiser. I reckon Adamek's biggest risk is a big powerful cruiser like Alexeev.

:deal I fancy Maccerinelli v Adamek would be a belter should Macca get passed Banks for the WBO , Unification of the IBF & WBO could possibly happen in 09 , :good

If that were the case, I think there'd be a good chance it'd happen in Cmyru or London. That'd definitely be one to get along to Josey!

I honestly can't see Macca chocking twice mate this would be a tidy dust up , Macca can defo crack harder than Cunningham in fact if Cunningham could bang Adamek would have been on ***** street a few times back last week mate . put it on the Haye v Vitaly undercard and i would crawl the 145 clicks to London for it lol.

Yeah i felt he woul;d have defeated woods.

Also in the Adamek fights imo he did not fight hard enough, to win.

True, but i am happy adamek has been doing well

Have to look at it again but I thought Dawson did pretty well coming back from the KD.

I remember watching the Adamek v Briggs 2 match a few times and felt Briggs could have got it. Briggs landed that dam right hand every time he threw it.

same, i was away but set it to tape and once i saw after the kd, i knew he had lost, i just felt it, by the way he fought.
IMO he could have won too.

    :rofl:rofl

This is complete rubbish. Dawson absolutely dominated almost every round against Adamek. He suffered a flash knockdown, got straight back up though and showed he wasn't hurt.

Then in the 12th he boxed carefully, as he was SOOOO far in front. Which is just plain common sense.

Cunningham an orthdox version of Dawson:patsch

Pull the other one mate. Geezuz.... What are you on??

I had Briggs winning the second fight but only just.

Anyway, Adamek clearly wasn't the best light heavy in the world. I would pick BHop, Calzaghe, Dawson all against him. Tarver would ahve been tough as well.

If anything it says leaps and bounds about how sh*t the cruiserweight division has been for a long time. Look at guys like Wayne Braitheweight (spelling) and Gullemiro Jones... These guys are or were among the best in the division, when based on their skill set they should be upper level journeyman at best. Oneil Bell as well is technically awful. Imagine what guys like a young Toney, Jirov, Holyfield etc etc would have done to these guys. It would be embarrassing.

in the two fights briggs imo it seemed like he could have won the fight if he put his foot on the gass a bit more
like in the 9th round of their first encounter he had adamek basically out on his feet-he talks about it in his book n he said he didnt finish him cause he lost that killer instinct...same with the second after the KD he should have been all over him-u could hear johnny lewis yelling at him to give some more
