I feel the same way. If he steals fans from seeing GGG have his first big fight, I'll be very mad.

Once again, IsaL is correct. This isn't some HUGE weight jump. GGG isn't that much bigger than Floyd anyway. They both have similar frames. This fight would be so interesting, not to mention both guys undefeated with extensive amateur backgrounds. The notably quicker backfoot boxer vs the notably stronger front foot aggressor. Both men great at what they do.

If Floud had fought Pacquiao in 2009 this thread wouldn't need to exist.

Possibly. I don't think GGG has ever fought at that weight.

If it's for a 160 lb title, it's always fair to require the fight to be at 160.

(This is pretty straightforward unless, like Scar, you're a few neurons short of a full set.)

My main point was that Floyd is not currently at #5 on any serious ATG list.

I think Floyd will get more credit beating GGG than beating some of the possible opponents people are talking about for his last fight.

    Pure comedy:lol:

If what you say is true then ggg should drop to 47 then, you know since they are similar size and build.

Golovkin said he would come down to 154 to fight Void................he would stop Void, even at 154, don't know how he would make 154, but he would be too much for Void. None of the other middleweight champions will fight him, Cotto has to pay Golovkin step aside money because Golovkin is his mandatory, Cotto knows he would get knocked out, but Alvarez will probably beat Cotto and Golovkin will knock Alvarez out. Golovkin is very underrated................
