I always hear on forums that some boxers, most likely Duran or Napoles are great at "combining defence and offense". What does this mean in practice, countering off of defensive manoeuvres or something else?
Basically going from defence to offence or offence to defence effortlessly, some example would be James Toney, Lomachenko, Mayweather, Ali, Archie Moore was great at this.
Fighters who are able to maintain a consistent offensive attack while still being defensively responsible simultaneously. Napoles and Duran are usually the first fighters that come to mind because they fought with aggression while still being hard to hit.
