The fight is never going to happen just look at Stevensons career since he signed with haymon his a coward with no goal at all

The house would be pack in Montreal. The fans here knows Kovalev because of the 2 Pascal fights and we would be rooting for him because...it’sStevenson!!! He is hated overhere, you have no idea!!!

How about the 1st time where he ran for Haymon to use the excuse: I wanna fight Hopkins and since I’m with Haymon, the fight with Kovalev will be impossible to make since I’m with Showtime and he is with HBO. Ducking 101.

I still think this fight is impossible to make.

Kovalev's best realistic options going forward are:

    a. WBSS LHW tournament gets made. There have been rumblings of the sort, and the purses are far higher than what most LHWs are getting (e.g. Alvarez was offered $150k vs Stevenson, surely he'd take the ~$1 million min the tournament offers) so it is realistic. Kovalev would probably still be seeded #1 and be the favourite to get to the semis/finals and finally get a good payday.

    b. If not a., then he should try to unify with Bivol as soon as possible. Bivol is a very complete fighter with an excellent future, but right now Kovalev beats him. Bivol isn't experienced enough yet and doesn't have the cast-iron chin that might've enabled him to pull it off without the experience.

    c. Try his luck against Beterbiev and any other top LHWs who might get in the ring with him. There isn't a lot of money but a good run as a unified LHW champion would be significant for Kovalev's legacy, cementing Kovalev as one of the great LHWs despite the Ward loss.

As much as I hate Stevenson, Jack will get hurt pretty badly. He is no 175. He’s a blown up 168 in a shark tank.

This. Stevenson never had anything to fear from Kovalev, who has always been tailor made for him. Duva thought Ward would be the easier fight for Kovalev, but that ended up backfiring.

Stevenson wins easily ,the Krusher fought a guy with the frame of a 160 pounder ,we all knew the out come. He's not really back ,he just thinks he is.
