WTF? Tarver was a relevant fight to Chad, so what if Hop had beaten him before? I didn't say Hop was shot when he lost to Joe either. My opinion is, the fight was a draw, and I think a younger Hop may have taken a decision. Stop making things up! The 175 division isn't great, but Chad's fought everyone he should have done. It's not his fault that Hop and Tarver were in their 40's and had been beat. What would you have said if Chad hadn't have fought them? You'd be calling him a ducker!
Well HW is considered the glamour division so lets look Try and dress things you know little about all you want America has 412 active HWs All of Europe has 299 active HWs Yet Americas highest rated HW now is J Banks at #10 8 of the others are European Things can be dressed to suit any way you like you see
Your're now talking of Froch/Ward. Ward was an American in America. Froch was a foreigner. Look at how big Russia is. Do you think if Pirog fought on the other side of Russia to where he lives, and was fighting a Chinese fighter, do you think Pirog would be called the home fighter, by being in his home country, even though he may have had to travel further? Of course he would. Theres home fighter and home town fighters and Froch had been on the road excluding that fight 5 out of 6 times
The jealousy over Ward ishilarious. lol I know it is hard but he is doing amazing. Best SMW of all time and the accolades are continuing to add up.
1. Beat Dirrell 2. Start fighting away from home 3. Hope some strong opposition appears around his weight class, else he's going to have the same problem the Klitschkos have
He has dominated 168. Once he moves up he will do the same thing at 175. He is well on his way to greatness.
Ward has dominated 168 about as much as Bradley dominated 140 and I don't hear calls for him being a hall of famer let alone an all time great.
he is a long way from great. The question is tough. That is like asking about Hearns in 1981. What does Tommy have to do to be ATG. look how long he had to fight to achieve it. It was not a 5 fight deal. Tommy fought another 30 fights and won numerous titles, and lost some fights. Becoming ATG is not easy and takes more than just a few names on the resume.
