He is still fighting at world level, although they are not world class, Algieri and Alexander are world level operators. You are not subjective in your view of him, either because you have a strong dislike of him, his race, religion or something else, therefore I care very little what you have to say, just another troll.

Yes of course he is British, he is not atheist though and he does not have a whole family tree that comes from Britain, some of his family I believe descend from ****stan.

And there it is! It took a couple of posts but we eventually got to the root of his problem.

People mention that hes a former world champ as if he was he wad thre only briton to win a world title in the last 20 years! We have about 8 or 9 world champs in Uk CURRENTLY! but why aren't any of them household names but Khan is lol

Look at fred evans and amir khan.. both young british Olympic Silver medalists... but thrir level of fame/ profile couldn't be any more different!

Ricky Burns is a former 2 WEIGHT world champion hes had a more successful pro career than Khan yet he doesn't have 1% of profie/fame Khan has.

Completely agree with this thread. He's had smoke blown up his ass his whole career. ****** made him who he is when he boxed back on itv and he's somehow gained popularity from there. Not only is he a very mediocre fighter but he has an awful personality so I just don't see what the pull is. I think casuals are drawn in by his impressive hand speed and the fact he gets buzzed nearly every round so he makes for good entertainment. As for his boxing I thought he lost to willie limmond he's just not well rounded enough and for his very few strengths he has too many parts of his game that are below par for the level he claims to fight at

    Who is he?

A Glass Jawed joke who's entire career has been smoke and mirrors.

He needs to retire from boxing asap before he gets turned into a vegetable.

Very valid points that the khan fans will get around by saying your a closet racist. I think he is an exciting fighter because you always watch his fights to see whether he gets chinned or not plus he does have that hand speed. Hes more exciting than most of the fighters you've named bar Froch, his personality and attitude stink though can't wait till brook chins him

It's my opinion that people mistake Khan's speed for skill.

As has been stated above, he won a silver at the Olympics and fought as a World Champion in a tough division.

He has surrounded himself with a good team from a PR point of view, getting him on to Saturday night talk shows etc., which is why he is known by the wider public. He is also obviously, and quite rightly, embraced by the Muslim community in the UK.

    Pointless and ironic thread.
