Have you ever been completely unconvinced by a fighter or sure that they were over hyped until they put together one or two wins that made you start to think they were the real deal?

Only for their very next fight see them “exposed” after they finally won you over.

For me it recently it was Joe Joyce, slow easy to hit and the wrong side of 30, but when he beat down Joseph Parker I lost a few quid and finally decided to climb of the juggernaut hype train, and look at me know.

Anyone have similar experiences with fighters?

By the way, words like hype and exposed are used as a joke here.
