Not sure really, as silly as it sounds the first time I really started getting into watching it was when Jon Thaxton used to be on ITV4 a few years ago, that is when I became a proper fan rather than just one of those people who know the world champions and that is it.
Chris Eubank & Nigel Benn I.........was my first boxing memory. I then remember watching most of Eubank's career, the whole family used to watch boxing back then. Not anymore.
Never been a fan of either of them that much really but Hatton/Mayweather was the first fight I stayed up for and since then I've been hooked. Was just a casual fan really before.
Although I'd been watching boxing before, for me it was Foreman beating Moorer that got me hooked:bbb
