...........That's good to hear about him, JG. I know what that's like, as I have similar fond memories of Leo Randolph when I fought out of the Al Davies Club in Tacoma. Little Leo was embarking on what ended up an aborted comeback attempt in 1986, but I remember how amazingly cool he was, helping us on with our gloves, showing us little pointers in a laid-back but enthusiastic way. He didn't have to do this; he was there just to work out himself, but he was one of the few in that gym that made a point of being really helpful. Sugar Ray Seales was another. Nice guy, a bit down on his luck and looking for some semblance of a home where he used to be king. Sadly, no one there had any time for him any more. It's like the people that ran the gym were embarrassed to have him hanging around. I was honored to have met him.

Mike Gibbons - His fight with Packey McFarland is out there in a 15 min clip which I'd love to get a hold of.

Duilio Loi - I've heard that clips from his fights with Jorgen Johansen, Glen Flanagan and Ray Famechon are out there (from the poster "Luigi"). I've even heard that one of his fights with Carlos Ortiz was filmed (by the poster "klompton". I asked him where it's available and he disappeared lol).

Tippy Larkin - Not sure if he qualifies as a great but he certainly had his moments, like when he pitched a near shut out on Billy Graham - one of the few times Graham was ever convincingly handled (the other being the final Gavilan fight). I've heard that a 15 min clip of his fight with Billy Graham is out there. One I'd love to get.

Kid Kaplan - A clip of his fight with Justo Suarez is out there somewhere. Both Kaplan and Suarez are underrated fighters. I wasn't even aware of them until Senya gave me a heads up with regards to Suarez's fight with Ray Miller.

Panama Al Brown - I've heard whispers that some of his fights are available (the poster "Dempsey1238" has been on a hunt for him) but so far nothing...

Johnny Dundee - Apparently there is a 5 min clip available of his fight with Eugene Criqui. One I'd love to have, Dundee fought every man and his dog and often managed a win against them. Come to think of it, he's one guy I might have a word to say about in my "20 greatest WINS resume" thread.:good
