Not sure if this has been covered before, but does anyone on the site know whats happened to young Emmett Gazzard? He had his last fight in the USA in November of 2008 and hassent fought since. Considering his 8.0. 5 Ko's it's strange that his gone completely off the radar and even more so seeing as he last fought in the USA. I met him once at an amature comp in Richmond NWS in 2004 or 2005 and he was a top bloke, had some crazy amature record with over 100 fights. He watched my fight and let me know what things i could work on in the gym and i was really humbled. I always thoguht this guy would go onto bigger and better things, has anyone heard anything about his career recently?

I have asked around but no one seems to know. Im curious as well. Last i heard he was living in New York but that was when his last fight happened.
Apparently his shoulder has kept him sidelined for a year. Just read that on Emmett's facebook account.
Thanks for the update fella's. And sorry for spitting chips hahaha, just sick of hearing about Mundine/Green shet and iv been wondering why Ezzard hassent been in the news recently. Im not into the old Facbook and my Face crap, dont really want my pictures in the google seach engines. But thank you both for that, I hope he gets back into the Gym when the injury heals up and hopefully the best is yet to come.

Thanks stiffy :good I think alot has been said about the big 2 in Aussie boxing and they dont deliver, either at home or on the big stage in the USA. Everyone should replace Mundine and Green threads with Katsidis and Darchinyan Threads, those two Boys are real fighters!
