Might have been a midget or a dwarf not sure of difference, but I'm sure he was called Paul and was billed to be on a Maloney card but for some reason it didn't happen? Has he fought again or has his career, ahem been cut short?
paul lowe....his opponent came in way overweight and fight was called off... he's gone back to being a stuntman...on big hollywood films too i hear...
it was "paperweight" wasnt it? but this article is from may 2009, after the deadline for april fools, so was he going to have a fight anyway? http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...toke-on-trent-tomorrow-night-100252-23730962/
excuse me,paperweigt actually does exist.and guess what i can prove it! 2nd reply http://www.funtrivia.com/askft/Question19326.html
ive a feeling he's a bit short on talent, as well as small enough oponents. did he not have 1 fight and lost on points?
Nah it was fibreweight. And it was blatantly a hoax. We don't even have a strawweight division, so what possible justification could there be to introduce a new division which would be unique to Britain, where possibly only two pros had a chance of contesting the belt. And Lowe was definitely serious about fighting. I remember an interview with King where Steve Robinson seemed pretty pissed at his man for not making the weight.
