I don't agree with this. The difference between Floyd's chance of winning and Cotto's failure definitely isn't accuracy or accumulative effect, Cotto was on fire in the early rounds, his counter punching combos were landing flush.

The difference is Floyd's defensive edges and his 12 round stamina, especially on the move - rapidly at that.

While I'm not a big fan of the what if game, If i had to predict the outcome I would favor floyd winning 8-4 with a clear UD.

I do not see why people can't see that if Cotto for the first 6 rounds can pretty easily outbox Margarito then Mayweather, due to his superior: handspeed, footspeed, footwork, accurancy and defensive capabilities would be able to for at least 7 rounds.

Mayweather is so good defensivly and Margarito is not a one punch knockout guy, he has to build up to them. That Margarito stopping Mayweather is highly unlikley.

    Mayweather wide UD

When you say Floyd fought, do you mean stood in front of AM and boxed or started throwing haymakers.

If you mean stood in front of AM, took initiative in making contact and boxed, I would say that he would slowly get ground down like Cotto because PBF has pretty good "in your pocket" defense, which means it would be hard for a guy like AM to land flush. In the end he would probably get KTFO.

If PBF did get into the ring, he wouldn't be standing there. He would be counterpunching the whole fight. He would be going for his trademark one-punch counterpunch and clinch technique. AM would be one hard ******* to hold though and PBF could not even scratch the AM chin.

PBF won't fight AM. He will get f--ked up if he does.

Margarito gets out pointed because floyd wont tire they way cotto did, he is much much more sound defensively and margarito wont see many punches coming, floyd has just enough power to disrupt margarito. Folyd by decision 117 to 111

What is hand speed gonna do for Floyd? He hits Margs 3 times and Margs bangs Floyd who do you think does more damage in the exchanges?

No one denies Floyd is faster but does it realy matter? The issue is his size and power speed doesnt keep guys off of you
Even Cotto's power couldnt keep Margs off of him so what is Floyds speed going to do?

Margs isnt going to box with Floyd he is going in there to kill Floyd 2 different mind sets

Margs has no respect for Floyds speed power shoulder roll etc.. because he doesnt need to that wont stop Margs from coming forward
