    Brussles was deemed eliminator worthy by the WBC. Floyd wanted the WBC belt and didn't want Gatti to vacate it to fight him. Plus, no other big fights could be made besides Harris but Harris showed on the same card as Gatti-Mayweather that it was best not to be matched against Floyd.

    Mitchell was a warm up fight at 147, nothing more.

    Why not fight Hatton at 140 at the time? I've heard Hatton declined and didn't decline many times so I don't really know which one is true.
