What if Miguel Cotto loses?

This guy is an idiot. Gomez coud never beat Cotto. Who has Gomez beat? Two c level fighters. Honestly the guy who started this thread is either a hater or living in dumbassland.

 

That's not what I implied he would do, I just said what if he loses ONE of his potential fights on the road to a Mayweather fight, what will happen to Cotto, Mayweather, and the welterweight division.

 

If that happened it would suck for us boxing fans and boxers. My bad man.

 

So I'm a hater if i asked a question saying what if Cotto loses? Why can't I be a fan of the guy and still ask questions like these. I never said he'd lose to Gomez.

 

.....basicly? if Cotto is outta the picture a fight with Mosley,Margarito, and maybe someone as far up as middleweight.

after that? he honestly might as well retire ( and 20 years down the road everyone will say he was better than Robinson...and they might be right)

like it or not...he's faced EVERYONE! and beat EVERYONE! he's only really been pushed a few times....if he beats Cotto,one more guy at 147 and possibly someone at 160? yes....I'm sorry I never though I would say this: but he's better than Robinson if he does all that.

if cotto was to lose it would rattle the division.

 

Cotto losing would be bad for boxing as he is the only clear challenger to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

It would certainly take a lot of excitement out of the 147 pound division
