everybody loses and cotto is not an exception, as long as he keeps on fighting top level opponents there is nothing to be ashame of... I would admit though him losing right now at this moment would not benefit him and the boxing world as we all await for that special miracle (mayweather/cotto)... but at the end of the day I would rather be someone with a lost and being remember as one of the best who step against every opponent, rather than retiring with zero defeats but having a big what if or ?... it would always come back to hunt you and money can't do anything about it...
actually i think both mayorga and margarito will push cotto to the edge.... i must admit i thought mosley would beat him, cotto suprised me and pulled it out..... but i wouldnt bet on him agianst eather margarito or mayorga at 147

Cotto is definately the type of guy to get straight back on the horse and keep fighting, no matter what some people "think" about him. But a loss would certainly set him back personally in the eyes of the fans and the boxing public, as most losses in boxing do today... Of course, that all depends on HOW he loses and WHO he loses to... although even a loss to the p4p no. 1 fighter in the world can set you back big time. I reckon Arum would be more of afraid of Cotto losing than Cotto himself. Cause Arum would lose more (money). As I said before, Cotto would simply get back up and continue fighting again, even if he didn't have the same "aura" about him.
