This is why I said "since" . The odds for Mayweather/Ortiz was 8-1 last time I checked.

Ortiz doesn't hit harder than Mosley, if he did Lamont and Maidana wouldn't have stuck around and make him quit/draw with him.

Ortiz is a nice fighter, technically sound, but is pretty basic and doesn't know how to adjust on the fly. It will be hard for him to fight Mayweather.

Hatton is like 5'6 with a 65inch reach, smaller than Floyd and almost was KO'd by Collazo, a defense fighter who never hit that hard. Ortiz is much bigger and stronger than Hatton. Doesn't make him better but that's like comparing fighting Morales(who I thought was more better at their weight) to Corrales, or JLC (Who was much bigger but maybe lesser fighters)

Ortiz has KD every single opponent he has faced IMO he is the stronger puncher then the old Mosely but if you believe it's Shane that is fine... both it hard anyways......

Ortiz dropped Maidana who has a good chin like 3 times, DO you think Mayweather will respond the same to a knock down as Maidana? Maidana got up from a ****ing Body shot right on the button and got his ass up... different apples man.

We are talking about different fighters, you don't know how your boy is gonna respong to being dropped the same, as we have never had to see him go trough that...

He may not but Mosley is a slightly overrated puncher who never had 1 punch KO power at welterweight. Sure he has power in both hands but people forget Oscar, Forrest, and Cotto was able to withstand his punches without being as stunned as Floyd or maybe were better at avoiding the two punches that Floyd, the defensive genius was caught by.

Honestly we have seen threads regarding Floyds Decline etc..... So those will likely be the excuses or the distractions he has with the Pac suit along with his criminal case... But Ortiz has to win for the excuses to arise.

Good point, the power puncher thing is funny as no one ever called mosely a power puncher until the day he rocked Floyd and gave him peanut butter JELLY legs with 2 punches on the button. THe following fight with PACquiao, the term power puncher and a punchers chance, and if Mosely catches pac once its over... LOL that is funny... Mosely was never a one Punch KO artist...

Ortiz does have that one punch power, he either knock you out with it, or you going down. All depends on you as a fighter how will you respond.

Mayweather made a mistake and traded with Mosely. He will not do that with Ortiz. I see Floyd giving away the first 3 or 4 rounds and then taking the last 8 rounds or so in his typical defensive "boring" counerpunching style.

I'm not saying that neither. Mosley IS known as a power puncher, just he doesn't have one punch power that people are giving him now after he rocked Floyd. He had Cotto hurt, but either Cotto took his shots better or he had the defensive ability to avoid the shots the defensive fighter in Floyd could not. Bigger Winky laughed at Mosley's shots. Forrest and especially Oscar took his flush shots without withering at all. All I'm saying is Floyd gets all this credit for having an iron chin after being caught by Mosley when Forrest, Oscar, and Cotto(known for having a shaky chin) took or either avoided the punches Floyd was caught by.

This is more proof than any that Floyd's chin isn't what his fans make it out to be.

How many shots did it take, how long did it take for it to happen?

We are talking about one punch power, obviously dude has some power, but not this one punch power that many thought he had because of the Mayweather fiasco.

Are we talking about the same ****, reading comprehension fail?

Yeah I may have worded it wrong, but yeah I meant he is not a one punch power ko artist, but does have power... which was being over rated because of what he did to Mayweather with it.
