it depends how much power you're talking about, if he had Juan Urango's power and still boxed the way he does, he would be pretty damn good.
I've always felt that if Paulie had any power, he might have beat Cotto. If he had, his career would have unfolded in quite a different manner.
WTF does this have to do with the post.....newayz Paulie would definatly be a world champion....ATG???? i dont know about that
If Paulie had more pop, he probably wouldn't have fought the way he did...with his chin, he would have stood and traded more; so who knows!
He should get a strength Coach and work on building power in his training, probably too late now, but 5 KO's outta like 27 fights. I know he had hand problems, but damn he should realize he needs to work the heavybag a lil more.
Probably! And if Diaz wasn't feather fisted he would probably have kayoed Paulie in the second round!:hat
What if Hearns had an iron chin What if Leonard was still prime when he fought Norris? What if Holyfield was still 30? What if.........
If Boxing is partially judged on clean effective punching, then of course the fight would go to Malignaggi if he had more power. That is the biggest arguement against Malignaggi in the fight. He was complete ineffective. While he threw a lot of punches, he missed most of them, and those that did connect did nothing. Even though Diaz threw less, the ones that he did hit Malignaggi looked more effective. Part of that could be Malignaggi turning his head with the blows but it just makes the punches look better.
