I Know nothi, is wrong once again. Floyd and Manny are the only two fighters since Pernell that could crack the top 30 in the last 30. These fight at their walk around weight and A) both hang in the best era in boxing (1980s--both would lose badly to Hearns but could have classic wars with SRL and Duran not to mention Pryor, Alexis . . . etc) b) stay at the lighter weight classes where they both could easily make given their lifestyles. Fighters like Bhop and Jones would be nothing more than footnotes because they fight a few pounds above the weight limit and would probably would have had to move up to LHW and been beatdown by the likes of spinx, eddie mustafa muhammad, and Qawi
And how exactly does Lucas Matthysse fight and are u implying he can't win a world title? He'd already have one if fate hadn't continued to screw him over...?? Does the victory over World Champion Peterson ring a bell?? Anyway, if Paulie had Lucas' power, he may have been slightly less defensive, but u can't say he'd neutralize his boxing style. He'd still have speed and boxing skill... Just imagine Paulie with power vs Cotto, Hatton, Khan, and Broner... He'd stop Broner, I know that much. I don't understand how u come to that conclusion considering how unbeatable Vitali is with his chin. Let's not forget he'd still have his power and his athleticism... I imagine Lewis would be terrified to fight him. Again, u have to put this stuff into context. He'd get that rematch with Castillo, school him with a healthy shoulder. It might (but probably wouldn't considering how one-sided the second fight was) lead to a 3rd fight... He'd probably be more willing to fight prime Cotto (still not prime Margarito, the guy was scarey)... He'd probably be even greater now considering he'd still win all those fights, get his shot at Oscar just the same, win that the same way, and go on to be boxing's cash cow The only glaring difference is he'd probably have fought Pacquiao, but that's debatable
What if there had been a 3 KD rule in effect for Pacquiao-Marquez 1? Would Marquez's reputation or even confidence go down so much that we wouldn't have gotten to see the great things and exciting fights we eventually did see? What if Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Arum didn't give us the middle finger and gave us the fight we wanted in 2010? Or even 2011? **** them all for ****teasing us. What if Don King didn't waste 4 years of Trinidad's prime having him fight the likes of Roger Turner, Kevin Leushing, Mahenge Zulu? What if Tyrone Everett were a faithful boyfriend who didn't have a tyranny fetish? What if Hector Camacho Sr had the dedication and training habits of a Mayweather or Hopkins? What if he didn't have a tendency to shell up and go extra defensive when he took good shots?
Unfortunately, his lifestyle made that outcome an inevitability. No disrespect to Edwin Valero intended. R.I.P.
What is Marquez hadn't landed that counter haymaker against Pac? Would Pacquiao have knocked Marquez out as was the trajectory of the fight, or would Marquez still have found away to win?
What if the Klitchkos retired a long time ago What if Duran and Leonard fought Pryor What if De La Hoya never fought Pacquiao and hand him the other half of the torch he gave to Floyd What if Shane Mosley ducked Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright like everyone else, ergo didn't have those 4 losses all in a row What if Floyd didn't ask for the OST, or Pacquiao took the OST without any fuss
Duran and SRL probably would have beaten Pryor. Duran-Pryor was supposed to be at 150 and Leonard would have been at 147. Leonard was bigger and better. Pryor had his chance at both of them, but turned down the fights
