    The amount of endorsements alone...

Under Armour, Hugo Boss, Beats by Dre, Jaguar, Lucozade... it goes on. Television appearances, charity auctions, Graham Norton.

Just because I'm seeing loads of AJ hate on here, and I'm an AJ fan, I thought I'd do a bit of a defence against a lot of the points that come up:

    - was a good amateur for someone who started boxing late. Didn't deserve gold in the Olympics but was robbed of gold the year before in the World Championships.

    - might've been a weak era during his reign but 1) you can only fight who's in front of you and 2) it was a lot better than the Klitschko Era.

    - Klitschko is a great win. Dude is an ATG and I think he gave his best performance in years after years of complacently phoning it in. AJ is the only one who could've beaten Klitschko in 2017: Fury wasn't fighting and Wilder didn't have much of a chance.

    - Povetkin is great win. Had only been beaten by Klitschko who should've been disqualified. Went on to KO Whyte.

    - Beat undefeated versions of Whyte and Parker, who are both top 10 guys (or were in the case of Whyte).

    - He tends to look very good when comparing his performances. AJ's performances against: Martin, compared to Anderson and Ortiz; Wallin, compared to Fury; Ngannou, compared to Fury; Franklin, compared to Whyte; Takam, compared to Makhmudov and Joyce (Joyce got it done quicker but was eating a right hand every two seconds); Parker, compared to Wilder, Zhang, Ruiz. Etc.

    - He'll go down as a top 50 heavyweight ever. Out of his era, not including the younger lot coming up now, he'll either go down as the 2nd or 3rd best. I'd put him #2 ahead of Fury purely because he has a better resume and I thought he did better against Usyk, and Fury has had a lot more close calls and bad nights, but I suppose it'll only be proven if they fight this year.

    - he tried to make fights with everyone. He was possibly dodged by Wilder, PBC certainly didn't seem keane, and he was undeniably ducked by Fury.

Sorry, but his reputation irrevocably went down when he was ko'ed by the round mound of Ruiz.

I think AJ and Fury’s legacies both hinge on the result of them fighting each other.

    Olympic gold
    World Amateur silver

Sure, he didn't deserve his gold medal but he had a very tough draw against Erislandy Savon, Big Bang Zhang, Ivan Dychko, and Roberto Cammarelle all of whom elite SHWs and big punchers

In 43 amateur fights he fought

    Cammarelle
    Majidov
    Savon
    Big Bang Zhang
    Big Joe Joyce
    Dychko
    Nistor
    Kuzmin
    Wallin
    Frazer Clarke
    Whyte

    ^^ Excellent resume

He beat them all sans, Majidov, Nistor and Whyte albeit a couple controversially though still close fights

    2 x three-belt unified champ as a pro

    In 32 pro fights fought

    Usyk
    Wlad
    Povetkin
    J-Park
    Dubois
    Fat Andy
    Pulev
    Whyte
    Takam
    Ngannou
    Wallin
    Martin
    Helenius

    ^^ Excellent resume

Beat them all sans Usyk, Dubois, and is 1-1 vs Fat Andy

And Usyk is the greatest fighter of this generation and an ATG genius boxer with no weaknesses who has never been dropped with a head shot or legitimately stopped in over 370 fights amateur or pro

Sure, Wlad and Povetkin were old and past their best but they were still very formidable and very dangerous legit KO artists and that version of Povetkin was still highly ranked (#3 by The Ring) and still had his explosiveness. Even that version of Povetkin would've sparked The Dosser out cold on his back early

Bad loss to Fat Andy but he avenged it via wide scorecards and these kind of losses are common at HW

Lewis one punch sparked out/knocked senseless x 2 by Rahman and McCall

Louis knocked out by Schmeling and let's not forget he was on his way to losing to a 30lb lighter Billy Conn who staggered him badly and hurt him prior to getting stopped

Wlad knocked out or TKO'd x 3 by Puritty, Sanders and Brewster

Mike knocked out by Buster Douglas

Dempsey KO'd in a round by Fireman Jim Flynn

Ali dropped heavily, badly hurt, and saved from KO defeat by the bell and corner shenanigans against much lighter Euro level guy

    Current crop

Dubois has been stopped x 2

    The Dosser been KO'd/TKO'd x 3

    J-Park been knocked out

    Bakole been stopped

    Hrgovic been stopped

    Whyte been KO'd x 3

    Chisora been KO'd/TKO'd x 4

    Anderson been knocked out

    Belly been almost KO'd x 2

    Wow, just wow

Helenius, Martin, ancient Pulev, gatekeeper Takam, Wallin, a 37 year old UFC fighter....

Dubois is the icing on the cake. It's funny stuff, but your list is correct, these are some of ajs best names :risas3:

One of the three biggest names at HW for several years isn't a bad legacy - only problem is, they were three very flawed and incomplete heavyweights presiding over a division that was otherwise pretty much dreck. We also never got any h2h clarity between him and Fury (by now we can all surely agree that Wilder is and was always the clear #3) when it mattered.

    Don't waste my time, clown

AJ didn't even take up the sport until he was 18 and he has an excellent resume both am and pro for someone who has had 75 fights in total in their life and unlike that glass-jawed bum idol of yours Lummox Lewis who took up boxing much younger he has never been one punch sparked out in his prime by a crack addict or a fellow glass-jawed binman like Rahman. Lummox would've been out cold on his back from the shot which Dubois dropped AJ with at the end of round 1 and even you know it too

If my aunt had balls. Lewis reached undisputed champion and beat everyone he fought. Dubois got beat up by Joyce and never got it back, aj is a bum and the greatest moment of his career was getting folded by morbidly obese Ruiz. Levels.

I've never met your aunt so it's not for me to say whether she has balls or not.

But we do know that Lummox didn't have the balls to rematch Vitali because he knew it would result in the 3rd KO loss of his career. AJ is still an active fighter, genius, and he still has a chance to avenge his loss to Dubois. Had he allowed Dubois to run him right out of the sport like Vitali did to Lummox you might have a point.

Lummox retired in a chicken coop. Literally. Whoever heard of a ''Lion'' cowering in fear in a chicken coop? :risas3:

Now please stop wasting my time. Go cry your baba tears about AJ somewhere else

Lewis stopped Vitali, cope. aj in his prime got dropped and outboxed by a fossilized Wladimir, imagine what prime Vitali would do to him

aj is a bum and now that turki has everyone fighting eachother his time is at the top is done. It was never a coincidence, joshuas resume was and still is a myth. He's not beating any top boxers, keep visiting that wishing well lol
